Tom Rockwell, purveyor of Rockwell Development, graduated from college with a business degree. After graduation,
summertime asphalt driveway work was parlayed into being hired as a union laborer in the Heavy Highway Construction industry.
Nine years were spent learning the trade and laboring building streets, highways and parking lots. A proficiency of surveying,
blueprint reading, project layout and equipment operating was gained. The drive to do more landed Mr. Rockwell
at the local Caterpillar dealer for the next 24 years where he worked in Service and Sales. The heavy equipment business
has been the mainstay allowing resources to be available to venture out to build and develop.
